Frenzy for Two or More [Delir in doi, în trei…în câți vrei] by Eugen Ionesco
“The couple is the world itself, man and woman, Adam and Eve, the two halves of humanity who first fall in love with each other, then find each other and ultimately are unable to love each other any longer yet still cannot exist without each other. The protagonists, simply named He and She, are caught up in a war that is as cruel as it is pointless, and that has turned into an inevitable way of life”. (Eugène Ionesco).
The production Frenzy for Two or More won the award of the Foundation League for Theatre (“Liga pentru teatru”), at the ATELIER International Theatre Festival in Baia Mare, Romania in 2011.
“The couple is the world itself, is the Man and the Woman, Adam and Eva, the two halves of the Humankind which love each other, refund each other, which are not able anymore to love each other; which, no matter of what happens, cannot not loving each other or to be one without the other. The characters generically defined as He and She, are caught in a war which is as senseless as cruel, a war which became simply a way of life.” (Eugène Ionesco).

“Cuplul este lumea însăşi, este bărbatul şi femeia, este Adam şi Eva, cele două jumătăţi ale umanităţii care se iubesc, care se regăsesc, nu mai sunt în stare să se iubească; care, orice-ar fi, nu pot să nu se iubească, care nu pot fi unul fără altul. Personajele, desemnate aici în mod pur generic prin El şi Ea, sunt prinse într-un război pe cât de crud, pe atât de derizoriu, un război devenit pur şi simplu mod de existenţă”. (Eugène Ionesco).
Spectacolul “Delir in doi, in trei …….in cati vrei” a castigat premiul Fundației “Liga pentru teatru”, în cadrul Festivalului Internațional de Teatru ATELIER de la Baia Mare 2011.
